Job Description

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant with 4-7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, specializing in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) to design and develop modern, cloud-ready SAP applications. The role involves building backend services and APIs that integrate seamlessly with SAP Fiori/UI5 front-end in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and extend SAP applications using ABAP RAP framework in S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
Build and consume OData services compliant with RAP for seamless Fiori/UI5 integration.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Design database models, business logic, and service layers using CDS views, BOPF, and RAP concepts.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve RAP application issues and provide support in production environments.
Document technical specifications, development guidelines, and best practices.
Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
Assist in knowledge sharing and mentoring junior developers.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

3 - 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with ABAP RAP framework and OData service development.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP S/4HANA architecture.
Experience with CDS views, BOPF, and related SAP development techniques.
Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform is an advantage.
Experience working in Agile teams.

Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certifications in ABAP, RAP, or SAP S/4HANA development.
Experience with SAP Cloud SDK and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Knowledge of DevOps practices in SAP landscapes.
