The eligibility, consultancy fee, scope of work/services and other terms & conditions are as under: -

1) Consultant (Public Relations)

Services required to be rendered by the consultant:

• The incumbent shall perform academic administrative duties for the smooth functioning of the Academic Division.
• Design life science experiments and hands-on activities for school students to simplify complex scientific concepts.
• Liaison with schools, scientific institutions, industry, NGOs and academia.
• Will be expected to be self-motivated and meet time-sensitive deadlines without constant supervision.
• Develop clear, engaging content for different platforms, such as blogs, social media, websites, articles, videos, and brochures.
• Organize outreach programs, workshops, and public events to foster interest and understanding of science.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the academic section from time to time.

Essential Qualification & Experience: -

• PhD degree in Life Sciences
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Ability to explain complex biological concepts in simple terms
• Experience in designing and conducting simple science experiments and hands-on activities for school students.
• The incumbent should be well acquainted with academic activities in a university / academic institution.
• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sound knowledge of computer applications
• Fluency in speaking both Hindi & English. Knowledge of a regional language is a plus, but not essential.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Teaching experience of 1-2 years is desirable but not essential
