Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis

• Work with business, functional, and technical teams to identify key business transactions, performance SLAs, and workload models.
• Translate performance requirements into test objectives and scenarios.

• Performance Test Strategy & Planning

• Develop detailed performance test plans, data strategy, and environment setup plans.
• Identify appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, Neoload, BlazeMeter, Gatling).

• Test Script Development

• Design and develop performance scripts for key transactions and end-to-end flows.
• Parameterize, correlate, and modularize scripts for maintainability and scalability.

• Execution & Monitoring

• Execute performance tests (load, stress, endurance, scalability, and spike tests).
• Monitor system resources using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Kibana).

• Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks in CPU, memory, database, network, or application layers.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports and recommend tuning measures.

• Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the development of performance testing standards, reusable assets, and knowledge sharing across projects.
• Stay current on emerging performance engineering trends and tools.

Technical Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in

  LoadRunner / Performance Center / JMeter / Neoload

  (any one mandatory).
• Strong understanding of

  HTTP, Web Services (SOAP/REST), databases (SQL), and API performance testing

  .
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab) and integration of performance testing in pipelines.
• Experience with

  monitoring and diagnostics tools

  (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, New Relic).
• Basic knowledge of

  cloud environments

  (AWS, Azure, GCP) and performance testing on cloud-native apps.
• Strong skills in

  test data design, workload modeling, and result interpretation

  .

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of

  SAP, Salesforce, Workday, or other enterprise applications

  performance testing.
• Familiarity with

  Kubernetes / Docker

  and microservices performance engineering.
• Exposure to

  performance tuning and capacity planning

  .
• Scripting/programming knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
