Job Summary
We are looking for a Workday Functional Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Workday HCM functionalities and will work closely with clients to design, configure, and enhance their Workday systems to meet business needs.
What youll be doing
Implementation and Configuration : Lead the implementation of Workday HCM modules, including but not limited to Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, and Time Tracking. Configure the system according to best practices and client requirements.
Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Workday configurations.
Process Design : Design and document business processes, ensuring alignment with Workday capabilities and industry best practices.
Testing and Validation : Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Workday effectively. Develop user documentation and training materials.
Ongoing Support : Act as a point of contact for post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions to enhance system performance.
Change Management : Assist in managing change requests and system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaboration : Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and other functional consultants to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Workday solutions.
What youll bring
Education : Bachelor s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
3+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
Proven experience in implementing and configuring Workday HCM modules.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of Workday functionalities, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, and Reporting.
Familiarity with Workday integration tools and methodologies.
Project Management : Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday certification in HCM or related modules.
Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
