Consultant, IT - Workday Integrations

Job Summary

We are looking for a Workday Functional Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Workday HCM functionalities and will work closely with clients to design, configure, and enhance their Workday systems to meet business needs.

What youll be doing

• Implementation and Configuration : Lead the implementation of Workday HCM modules, including but not limited to Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, and Time Tracking. Configure the system according to best practices and client requirements.

• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Workday configurations.

• Process Design : Design and document business processes, ensuring alignment with Workday capabilities and industry best practices.

• Testing and Validation : Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.

• Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Workday effectively. Develop user documentation and training materials.

• Ongoing Support : Act as a point of contact for post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions to enhance system performance.

• Change Management : Assist in managing change requests and system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Collaboration : Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and other functional consultants to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Workday solutions.

What youll bring

• Education : Bachelor s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience :

• • 3+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant or in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring Workday HCM modules.

• Technical Skills :

• • Strong knowledge of Workday functionalities, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, and Reporting.

  • Familiarity with Workday integration tools and methodologies.

• Project Management : Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.

• Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.

• Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday certification in HCM or related modules.

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

• Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
