Job Description

As a Learning and Development professional at WSP, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning materials and experiences that align with the company's learning objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Consulting and collaborating with global subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop appropriate solutions. - Selecting and using appropriate instructional strategies and technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences. - Evaluating the effectiveness of learning materials and experiences and making necessary revisions. - Staying up-to-date on the latest learning trends and technologies. - Developing and maintaining relationships with external learning providers, where appropriate. - Providing guidance and support to other members of the Learning and Development team. - Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. - Working independently and as part of a team. - Acting as a subject matter expert in digital learning and content creation. - Working with regional subject matter experts to ensure accurate translation of learning materials and curation of culturally appropriate content. Key Competencies And Experience: - Tools Expertise: Oracle Learning Management System (LMS), Cornerstone/edCast Learning Experience Platform (LXP), EasyGenerator, Adobe Suite, MS O365, Camtasia, Canva, Figma, Vyond, Articulate, and other learning or video creation software. - Preferred experience with developing learning solutions for a global audience and adjusting materials based on cultural needs, regional constraints, and localization or translation considerations. - Strong understanding of learning theory, instructional design principles, and adult learning principles. - Proven experience as a learning consultant, working with a broad range of stakeholders (cross-culturally and varying levels of seniority). - Experience of collaborating with colleagues in different time zones and from different cultures. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). - Strong project management skills. - Proficiency in instructional design software and tools. - Experience with a variety of learning technologies, including e-learning, blended learning, and mobile learning. Qualifications: - Graduate in any discipline. - 7+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field. - Overall, 9 years of work experience in a multi-national company (MNC) preferably in Consulting Firms. - Professional qualification in HR or Learning & Development at Level 5+ (or equivalent) desirable. - Professional membership with ATD/DLI/CIPD/SHRM or equivalent desirable. - Certifications in Software design desirable.
