Job Description

Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient consultations for gynecological and obstetric patientsManage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal careConduct and manage normal and high-risk deliveriesPerform gynecological and obstetric surgeries (elective and emergency)Handle gynecological emergencies and obstetric complicationsEnsure timely documentation of patient care records
Surgical & Procedural DutiesPerform procedures such as LSCS, hysterectomy, laparoscopic surgeries, D&C, and other gynecological interventionsAssist or lead surgeries as per case complexity and hospital policyEnsure adherence to OT protocols and patient safety checklistsAcademic & Quality Responsibilities Participate in clinical audits and mortality & morbidity meetingsGuide junior doctors, residents, and nursing staffContribute to NABH, quality improvement, and patient safety initiativesStay updated with current best practices and clinical guidelinesAdministrative & ComplianceMaintain medical records as per hospital and statutory requirementsFollow NABH, medico-legal, and ethical standardsParticipate in hospital committees as assignedCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
