We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in area grading and land development.

Roles and Responsibility

Study plot plans and lay out drawings to ensure accurate execution.
Coordinate with surveyors to establish plot boundaries and initial RL of the plot.
Conduct regular field compaction tests and verify contractors' DPRs.
Ensure proper mobilization of P&M resources by contractors and inform superiors if necessary.
Check effective filling layer and cutting/filling activity levels.
Verify rebar bending in yard and certify BBS.
Maintain proper scaffolding, staging, handrails, and ladder fixing for work at height.
Ensure RA sheets are filled up and signed off, and conduct surface rendering and finishing checks for concrete and fireproof surfaces.
Check embedded items (Anchor Bolts, Insert Plates) are in position and aligned/welded before concrete pouring and perform backfilling and curing compaction checks.
Conduct field quality testing of concreting and cube sampling.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in refinery/petrochemical construction.
Possess knowledge of general plant and equipment layout, area development layout, Concrete technology, Scaffolding, staging, and formwork safety.
Demonstrate basic surveying and levelling skills, including proficiency in u/g layout and safety precautions in excavation work.
Familiarity with different symbols used in civil drawings is required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
