As a Manager in the Technology Consulting team, your primary responsibility will be to lead various Guidewire implementation and Prototype development projects for our clients worldwide. Client Responsibilities: - Act as a Manager (Technical Leader) overseeing various aspects of Guidewire implementation projects. - Collaborate with onsite coordinators, ensuring effective communication and interface. - Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team. - Provide guidance and mentorship to the project team during project execution. - Regularly report project status to Program Managers and onsite coordinators. - Interface with customer representatives as required. People Responsibilities: - Cultivate a culture of quality within the team. - Manage performance evaluations for direct reports in alignment with organizational policies. - Encourage teamwork and set a positive example for team members. - Provide training and mentorship to project resources. - Engage in organization-wide people initiatives. Technical Skills Requirements: - Qualifications: BE/BTech/MCA & MBA with 8-10 years of industry experience. - Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and/or Guidewire Integration. - Demonstrated knowledge in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines insurance products. - Expertise in Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services, SQL, ANT, Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging Systems. - Strong knowledge of Tomcat, Websphere/Weblogic, and enterprise system integration in Insurance applications. - Familiarity with software development best practices. - Excellent business communication, leadership, client-facing, and project management skills. Additional Skills Requirements: - Experience in Guidewire implementations/upgrades. - Knowledge of the Insurance domain, particularly in Property & Casualty. - Previous experience in client-facing roles.
