Condition Monitoring Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Primary duties will be monitoring and diagnosing the health condition of Industrial gearboxes through the vibration data to highlight potential failures and/or damages before they happen.
• Identifying and predicting potential equipment failures through data analysis and trend monitoring using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermal imaging, and ultrasonic testing.
• Technical reporting of potential reliability conditions
• Regular interaction with service engineers & customers performing a follow up on the alerts detected by the system and the technical actions applied on field.
• Training other team members on condition monitoring techniques and best practices.
• Take responsibility for customer success by assuring accuracy of provided insights and actions to take
• Installation & commissioning & Remote Monitoring of Flender Online CMS systems.
• Installation and commissioning of Flender IOT sensors.
• Willing to travel to customer places.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech. - Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation.

• Minimum Level II Vibration Analyst Certification as defined by ISO 18436-2.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in industry with Vibration Analysis, Condition Monitoring.
• Good Understanding about working knowledge of Online Condition monitoring system, Vibration Analysis Software, Vibration Data Acquisition systems, Vibration sensors and various Condition Monitoring techniques.
• Good understanding on gearbox and gear and bearing failure modes and problem solving.
• Exposure on Root Cause Failure Analysis, Basic Fault Diagnosis and Condition Evaluation.

Competencies:

• Fluency in English and have good communication, presentation skills. Spoken knowledge in Hindi.
• Pro-active, structured, self-motivated, communicative, reliable, credible, open minded and ambitious.
• Should be willing to travel.
• Good understanding about application of various statistical tools in data analysis and problem solving
• Exposure to Condition Monitoring of Heavy-duty gear units in cement, sugar, Thermal power plants and other process industries will be an advantage
• Exposure with IOT sensors & software platform can be an added advantage
• Should be individual contributor and be a good team player.
