Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Condition Monitoring Engineer with 5-10 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bengaluru . In this critical role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the reliability and performance of our machinery within a complex oil and gas operating environment. You will drive best practices in equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance strategy optimization. Key Responsibilities: Implement and optimize machinery performance and condition monitoring programs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of equipment, work processes, and data. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Technical, Maintenance, and Projects, to drive asset reliability improvements. Facilitate knowledge sharing by documenting and incorporating lessons learned into applicable systems. Provide expert troubleshooting support for equipment to enhance overall reliability. Lead and execute workflows across various aspects of equipment and condition monitoring, including: Condition Monitoring and Reporting for critical equipment. Analysis and decision-making based on Condition Monitoring results. Reliability Performance Monitoring and Reporting. Maintenance Strategy Optimization. Identification of opportunities and conducting studies for asset performance improvement (IMPACT Phase 1). Management of Threats and Deficiency Processes. Support Business Unit Deviation Management. Required Qualifications: Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in machinery engineering and condition monitoring support, specifically within the oil and gas sector. Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering , Reliability Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited university. Postgraduate qualifications in Reliability Engineering, Condition Monitoring, RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), or RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability Analysis) and Maintenance Strategy Development are highly preferred. Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in Condition Monitoring Techniques: Expertise in vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasonic testing. Advanced Machinery Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex machinery issues in an industrial environment. Reliability Engineering Principles: Strong understanding and application of concepts such as RCM, FMEA, RAM analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Data Analysis & Reporting: Skilled in interpreting complex condition monitoring data, generating insightful reports, and tracking KPIs effectively. Maintenance Strategy Optimization: Ability to develop, implement, and optimize proactive maintenance strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams (Operations, Technical, Maintenance). Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of rotating and reciprocating machinery performance in a complex oil and gas operating environment. Software Proficiency: Experience with relevant Condition Monitoring software platforms and diagnostic tools.
