Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and comprehensive system inspections.
Diagnose and troubleshoot engine issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
Execute repairs and complete overhauls on critical engine components such as fuel systems, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and turbochargers.
Service engines installed in heavy machinery like excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and haul trucks to ensure peak operational efficiency.

Technical Support

Provide expert technical assistance to customers and field service teams for heavy equipment engines.
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to guide accurate repairs and maintenance.
Develop, update, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for servicing engines in heavy-duty applications.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with OEM specifications and industry standards.
Conduct rigorous quality checks and performance testing on repaired engines to validate operational integrity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair activities.

Customer Service

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their engine service requirements and provide timely updates on job progress.
Deliver exceptional service quality to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.

Safety and Compliance

Strictly adhere to safety protocols during maintenance and repair tasks, especially when working on large-scale machinery.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations concerning engine emissions and waste disposal.

Skills and Competencies

Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in heavy machinery engines.
Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex engine systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with engines used in excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and other heavy-duty equipment.
