Job Description

Job Title: Computer Teacher – Higher Secondary We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Computer Teacher for the Higher Secondary level (Classes 8 and 12) to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum (GSEB or equivalent). The candidate should possess expertise in computer fundamentals, programming languages, database systems, and emerging technologies, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring students. Key Responsibilities: Teach Higher Secondary students computer science topics, including: Programming (Python, Java, C++) Data Structures and Algorithms Computer Networks Database Management Systems (SQL, RDBMS) Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Cybersecurity basics and emerging tech (AI, ML, etc.) Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in line with the prescribed syllabus. Conduct practical sessions in computer labs to reinforce theoretical concepts. Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback and support. Prepare students for board exams and computer olympiads, if applicable. Stay updated with curriculum changes and emerging trends in computer education. Manage classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and extracurricular projects like coding clubs, robotics, or hackathons. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training certification (preferred or as per board requirement) Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level Skills: Strong command of programming languages and computer fundamentals Effective communication and classroom management Familiarity with online learning tools and digital pedagogy Ability to guide students in academic projects and practical assignments Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Work Location: In person
