Computer Teacher

Role Overview

The Computer Teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science concepts to students, ensuring age-appropriate understanding of digital literacy, basic programming, and responsible use of technology. The role focuses on building strong foundational and practical computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging computer lessons as per the prescribed curriculum for all levels.
• Teach fundamentals such as computer basics, MS Office tools, internet usage, coding basics, and logical thinking
• Introduce programming concepts (Scratch, basic Python or similar tools as per grade level)
• Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure hands-on learning
• Maintain discipline and ensure safe and responsible use of computer lab resources
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment reports
• Support integration of technology into classroom learning
• Guide students on cyber safety and digital ethics
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities
• Coordinate with academic team for curriculum planning and improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA / B.Sc. (CS) or equivalent
• B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred
• Knowledge of school-level computer curriculum
• Proficiency in basic programming, MS Office, and educational software

Experience

• Prior teaching experience in a school environment preferred
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
