Computer Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and Repair:Identifying and resolving hardware (e.g., motherboards, screens) and software issues on computers, laptops, and other devices.
• Installation and Configuration:Setting up new computer systems, installing operating systems, software applications, and configuring them for optimal performance.
• Maintenance:Performing regular maintenance, security updates, and tests to ensure systems are functioning correctly and to prevent future problems.
• Technical Support:Providing technical assistance to users and customers, answering questions, and offering instructions on how to use software or troubleshoot common problems.
• Hardware Upgrades:Replacing damaged or outdated hardware components and performing hardware upgrades to improve performance.
• Network Support:Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and maintaining wired and wireless networks.
• System Monitoring:Checking network backup logs and ensuring the proper function of various computer and network components.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Hardware Knowledge:Understanding of various computer components like motherboards, hard drives, keyboards, and peripherals.
• Software Knowledge:Proficiency with operating systems, software applications, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Diagnostic Skills:Ability to analyze computer functions and diagnose problems effectively.
• Customer Service:Strong communication skills to interact with users, answer questions, and provide support.
• Problem-Solving:Analytical skills to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions.
• Manual Dexterity:Proficiency in using small tools to take apart and reassemble computer components.

Pay: ₹10,650.00 - ₹32,581.97 per month
