Computer Operator

As a Computer Operator in the Jewellery Production Department, your role will involve managing production-related data entry, job sheets, WIP updates, and coordination with multiple departments. Your primary responsibility will be to enter all production data accurately in Jewels Software on a daily basis. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing job creation, job closing, routing, WIP updates, and material movement entries. It is essential to prepare and update production sheets, job cards, and daily reports through the software while ensuring that all data is recorded correctly for smooth production flow. Key Responsibilities: - Enter all production data accurately in Jewels Software daily. - Manage job creation, job closing, routing, WIP updates, and material movement entries. - Prepare and update production sheets, job cards, and daily reports through the software. - Ensure all data is recorded correctly for smooth production flow. You will also be required to follow up on pending jobs, update status in the software, and share job lists and reports with PPC, Production Manager, and department heads. Furthermore, maintaining proper digital and physical records of job sheets, issue slips, receipt slips, and consumption reports is crucial. Tracking material movement such as gold, stones, diamonds, findings, and components, and ensuring reconciliation and error-free documentation in every process is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will prepare daily production reports, pending job summaries, and WIP statements, generate required MIS data for management, and provide timely updates for new jobs, urgent jobs, and repair jobs. Qualifications Required: - Minimum Graduate - Minimum 2 years of experience with Jewels Software - Jewellery industry experience is mandatory Your skills and competencies should include a minimum of 2 years of experience with Jewels Software, the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, good communication and coordination skills, accuracy, speed, attention to detail, and an understanding of jewellery production workflow (preferred). In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring ZERO error in entries and maintaining high data accuracy while also maintaining the confidentiality of production and product data.
