Role Description

We are looking for a VMC Programmer cum Setter to join our machining operations team. This is an on-site, full-time role where you will be responsible for both programming and setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) for precision part production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create VMC programs using CAM software or manual G-code

• Set up and calibrate tools, fixtures, and workpieces on VMC machines

• Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD models

• Perform trial runs and adjust parameters to ensure accuracy and finish

• Inspect machined parts using standard measurement tools

• Identify and resolve issues related to machining or programming

• Maintain machine logs and ensure adherence to production schedules

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 1 years of experience in VMC programming and setting

• Familiarity with CAM software such as Mastercam or NX CAM.

• Understanding of GD&T, tooling, and machining best practices

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
