We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team and help us maintain high-quality production standards. Job Responsibilities: Programming: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols. Develop and optimize CNC programs (G-code, M-code) using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, etc.). Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials. Setup & Operation: Set up and calibrate CNC machines (VMC & turning centers, etc.). Load raw materials, secure workpieces, and set tool offsets. Perform trial runs and inspect the first part to ensure accuracy. Troubleshoot program errors and adjust machine parameters as needed. Quality Control & Maintenance: Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs. Maintain tolerance accuracy as per customer specifications. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools. Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in CNC programming, operation, and setup. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments. Hands-on experience with G-code, M-code, and Fanuc & Siemens Controls. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines. The person will directly report to the Owner and play a key role in creating long-term, repeat customer relationships Key Responsibilities Identify, approach, and onboard potential OEMs and Tier-2/Tier-3 vendors who require CNC turned and VMC machined components. Build and maintain relationships with purchase managers, vendor development managers, and technical teams. Handle vendor registrations, RFQs, and client qualification processes. Attend industry expos, vendor development meets, and visit industrial clusters to generate qualified leads. Manage the complete sales cycle: from prospecting → pilot order → follow-up → regular supply contracts. Keep updated database of leads, inquiries, and progress reports. Act as the single point of contact between clients and Micrometal’s production team. Achieve defined sales targets and help build the company’s sales department from scratch.
