With an API 7-1 certification, we specialize in manufacturing and repairing downhole drilling tools and horizontal drilling tools for the oil, gas, and mining industries. Our capabilities include drill pipe connection repairs, stabilizer manufacturing and repair, rock reamer production, and customized machining and fabrication services.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our production team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines, ensuring precision machining as per API 7-1 standards, and delivering high-quality production output on schedule. This role involves working on critical downhole tool components, making it essential to have strong technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished workpieces
• Set up jobs on CNC lathe machines as per drawing requirements
• Create, edit, and modify CNC programs, including API 7-1 thread programming
• Operate CNC lathes to produce parts to defined tolerances and specifications
• Inspect and verify threads and part dimensions as per API 7-1 standards
• Maintain on-time production targets and ensure workflow efficiency
• Perform in-process quality checks and maintain documentation
• Adhere to company quality standards and API requirements
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and follow safety protocols
• Coordinate with production and QC teams for machining accuracy and delivery

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in CNC Lathe Machine Operation
• Hands-on experience with API 7-1 thread machining and inspection (Mandatory)
• Ability to program, set, and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
• Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, API Gauges, etc.)
• Experience in oil & gas machining preferred
• Minimum ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machining or equivalent

• Valid Passport is Compulsory (for future international deployment/training)
• Strong attention to precision, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Willingness to work overtime as required

Salary Range

₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skills & experience)

Overtime as per company policy
