Computer Aided Design Operator

*Urgent REQUIREMENT* We’re seeking a skilled CAD person to join our team at DOLPHIN LEATHER.

As a CAD draughtsman, you will prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for various leather goods. You will work closely with team to ensure that all specifications and designs adhere to industry standards.

*Objectives of the role*

1. Developing detailed pattern of both sample and production team.

2. Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate drafts.

3. Modifying existing patterns and plans as needed to accommodate changes in design.

4. Ensuring patterns comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.

5. Assisting in resolving design and technical issues during project development.

*Your tasks*

1. Create precise technical drawings using CAD software, AutoCAD.

2. Convert hand sketches and verbal instructions into accurate CAD drawings.

3. Prepare layouts, detailed pattern and assembly diagrams for construction or manufacturing.

4. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes or modifications requested by the team.

5. Ensure all designs are documented and meet the required standards and codes.

6. Review designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.

7. Assist with the development of design standards and procedures.

*Required skills and qualifications*

1. Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

2. 2+ years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman or in a similar drafting role.

3. Proficiency in using CAD software, like as AutoCAD.

4. Good understanding of bags, wallet and various other leather goods.

5. Ability to interpret and work with complex technical drawings and specifications.

6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
