Compliance Testing Officer

The Compliance Testing Manager will be responsible for conducting Compliance reviews of Banks functions and new products to provide reasonable assurance to the Management regarding compliance with regulatory norms. This includes assisting in the preparation of Compliance Review plans, updating Compliance review checklists, and ensuring that reviews are completed within prescribed timelines. The incumbent will be required to prepare Draft Compliance Review reports, discuss them with relevant stakeholders, and obtain responses for the preparation of Final Compliance Review Reports. Proper documentation and working papers must be maintained for all compliance reviews conducted, including the preparation of an Open Issue tracker for Compliance Review Reports issued. Follow-up with management towards closure of compliance review open issues is also a key responsibility. Essential competencies for this role include in-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for banks in India, particularly RBI regulations, strong research capabilities, and intelligent interpretation of regulatory guidelines. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Banking Industry is required, along with good knowledge of all elements (commercial, operational) of banking areas such as Trade, Remittances, Treasury, etc. Good interpersonal skills are also essential for effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.,
