Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

. Statutory & Corporate Compliance:

Ensure compliance with Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings (ROC, MCA, etc.).
Conduct and document Board Meetings, General Meetings, and Committee meetings.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates and adherence.

2. Legal Drafting & Review:

Draft, vet, and review contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
Advise management on legal implications of business decisions and contracts.

3. Regulatory Liaison & Communication:

Interface with ROC, RBI, and other authorities as needed.
Handle inspections, audits, and notices from regulators or legal entities.

4. Litigation & Legal Risk Management:

Coordinate with external legal counsels on ongoing litigation or disputes.
Maintain records of court cases, arbitration matters, and status updates.

5. Internal Legal Support:

Support internal departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.) on legal and compliance matters.
Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of legal and corporate records.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Company Law, Contract La, and Compliance procedures.
Excellent Drafting and communication skills.
High attention to detail and integrity.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Proficiency in MCA portal, MS Office, document management system.

Skills and competencies:

Strong Negotiation Skills
Should be able to resolve problems.
