Background of The Hans Foundation
The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs.
Over its 15 years of existence, THF has reached more than 35 million beneficiaries through its programs. THF works with communities through direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing local management and monitoring support to not-for-profit organisations in India funded through THF USA and RIST.

THF - Skiil Centre has been conceptualized with a focus on Empowering and training underprivileged youth in various technical skills and to make them ready for jobs/self-employment.
The initiative aim to its ambitious program of 20 Swasthya cities for providing doorsteps services to urban based EWS population in metros and mini metros in the thematic areas of Health, Education, Skilling and Disability for holistic development and creating equitable society.Skilling of urban youth is extremely essential element of developing healthy and prosperous society. THF as a part of its endeavour in contributing towards nation building has taken up progressive initiative in training youth in multi skilling covering Pan India with focus on 20 Swasthya Cities.
Job Information
Position: 2 Positions Mobilizer / Livelihood Mobilizer
Location: Khoda, (Noida) UP and Guru Dronacharya, (Gurugram), Haryana
Department: Programme Operations / Livelihood
Reporting to: Centre Coordinator
Role summary
The Mobilizer will lead community outreach and youth mobilization activities, support the in-field mobilization, and guide eligible youth through onboarding and progression on the program’stechnology platform. The role focuses on building relationships with youth, conducting need assessments, and supporting successful registration, and retention.
Key responsibilities

Plan and conduct mobilization drives in assigned clusters; support and coordinate with the team for effective outreach.

Undertake comprehensive needs assessments with households and job-seeking youth to identify strengths, gaps, training and skill training needs.

Provide career counselling and explain assessment results to youth so they can make informed choices about training and work.

Facilitate end-to-end onboarding of eligible youth onto the programme’s, ensuring

documentary validation and completion of required steps.

Support youth to navigate the platform, follow up to ensure registration, course enrolment

or placement and contribute to job retention targets.

Engage and motivate youth to maintain positive participation; identify and respond to risks that may lead to dropouts.

Build trusted relationships with youth, families and community stakeholders (parents, local leaders) to strengthen mobilization and support.

Collect, maintain and submit accurate data and program evidence to demonstrate outcomes and meet KPIs.

Act as a role model demonstrating the behaviour and skills training the programme

Desired competencies
Able to build positive, motivating relationships with youth and community partners.
Strong oral and written communication skills in Hindi and functional English.
Good organisational skills, time management, and ability to work independently with
minimal supervision.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, internet) and comfort using mobile/web platforms.
A proactive attitude with the ability to solve ground-level challenges; flexible to work
evenings/weekends if required.
Experience in conducting needs assessments and developing personal development plans
for youth.
Team-oriented and able to follow programme SOPs and tools consistently.
Qualification & experience
12th Pass /Graduate degree (or equivalent professional qualification).
1–2 years’ experience working with youth, preferably in vocational training, youth
development, livelihood or community mobilisation programmes.
Prior experience engaging stakeholders in disadvantaged communities (parents, and community leaders) is desirable.
