Communications Officer

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Content and Communications:

(1) Develop and disseminate impactful communication materials ensuring all external and internal communications reflect a consistent tone, message, and visual identity;

(2) Research and draft compelling content such as stories, articles, blog posts, social media posts and other materials;

(3) Collaborate with the leadership team to and assist in proofreading, editing, and refining content to align with the brand’s voice and tone;

(4) Take on additional communication-related tasks and responsibilities as required, based on the organization’s evolving communications priorities.

(B) Social Media Management:

(1) Independently manage and monitor the organization’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others;

(2) Schedule, publish, and analyze posts to ensure consistent messaging and optimal audience engagement;

(3) Respond to comments, messages, and queries in a professional and timely manner;

(4) Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising initiatives, to boost visibility and engagement;

(5) Use analytics tools to optimize content performance and recommend improvements.

(C) Graphic Designing:

(1) Design and develop creative assets such as infographics, reports, templates, layouts, and multimedia content for various uses for digital platforms;

(2) Working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.,), as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), and other related software or digital tools;

(D) Video Editing:

(1) Developing and creating Short-form graphics/photo-based videos;

(2) Editing videos, designing thumbnails, and uploading them on the YouTube channel.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications

(2) Certifications in Digital Marketing, Content Creation, or Social Media Management are a plus.

Experience

(2) Exceptional, freshly qualified communications professionals shall also be considered.

Skills and Competencies

(2) Exceptional writing and designing skills;

(3) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro/After Effects), Canva, etc.;

(4) Knowledge of Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Facebook Insights;

(5) Maintaining high standards of quality and performance;
(6) Ability to work under pressure and stringent timelines;(7) Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management abilities;(8) Positive work attitude; Integrity and honesty; Desire to learn and value-add;

(9) A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation offered for the role is Rs. 4-5 lacs per annum. The salary offered shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and salary history of the selected candidate.
