Job Description Mƍ te t Ć« ranga | About the Role We’re on the hunt for an experienced Communications Advisor help us tell the stories of TLC—our people, our projects and our impact in the community. This isn’t an entry-level gig—we’re looking for someone with practical, hands-on experience who can hit the ground running. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging internal and external communications, with a strong focus on digital storytelling across a range of channels. You’ll manage our digital platforms (like the website, intranet, and social media), and create compelling content—written, visual, and video. Whether it’s a staff story, a community highlight or a complex business update, you’ll know how to craft the right message and make it land. Desired Skills And Experience Nā t āu rourou | What you’ll bring: At least 3–5 years of professional communications experience - this is essential. Outstanding written English skills—grammar nerds, we see you - and we want you! Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator at an intermediate level; Photoshop basics a plus). Proven ability to create engaging content across written, visual and digital formats. Experience developing and delivering communications plans A solid understanding of social and mainstream media platforms and how to use them strategically. Bonus points for: Experience with photography and/or video production/editing. Familiarity with mainstream media and writing media releases. Working knowledge of SharePoint and/or WordPress.
