As a Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for testing various vendors" metering related software (BCS & CMRI) to ensure alignment with business requirements. Additionally, you will provide support to internal stakeholders such as vigilance, I&C, and LTP2 for software updating. Your role will involve evaluating and testing new electricity meters both onsite at vendors" locations and in laboratory settings. You will also be tasked with identifying and reinstating IMTE instruments to ensure proper functioning and reduce overall repairing costs. Furthermore, you will play a key role in coordinating the implementation of AMR based billing reading for HT, LTP2, EA, and streetlight meters. This will contribute to reducing billing time, increasing billing efficiency, and ensuring early/timely realization of revenue. In addition, you will be responsible for calculating the drift of reference instruments by monitoring calibration trends and history to ensure that instruments operate within specified limits. You will also calculate the uncertainty of accredited scope and perform mandatory quality assurance programs to guarantee trust in generated laboratory results reliability. Moreover, part of your responsibilities will involve developing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and brand image in collaboration with various stakeholders.
