As a Metering Software Tester, your role involves: - Testing various vendors' metering related software (BCS & CMRI) to ensure alignment with business requirements. - Providing support to internal stakeholders (i.e. vigilance, I&C, LTP2) on software updating. - Evaluating and testing new electricity meters onsite at vendors' locations and/or in the laboratory. - Identifying and reinstating IMTE instruments for proper functioning, thereby reducing the overall repairing cost of instruments. - Coordinating the implementation of AMR based billing reading of HT, LTP2, EA & streetlight meters to reduce billing time, increase billing efficiency, and ensure early/timely realization of revenue. - Calculating the drift of reference instruments by monitoring calibration trends & history, thus ensuring the operation of instruments within specified limits. - Calculating uncertainty of accredited scope and performing mandatory quality assurance programs to assure trust in generated laboratory results' reliability. - Developing innovative ideas within the context of various stakeholders to enhance efficiency and brand image.
