Job Opening for Commissioning Manager with Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. (Contractual Role )

Job Location: Uran (Maharashtra)

Education:

BE-Chemical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering

Exp: 15+ Years experience in Oil & Industry & leading Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activity as lead for at least 2 projects.

Summary: Responsible for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning of Process Plant Oil & Gas

Role and Key Responsibilities: -

Oversee the process of bringing newly installed piping systems and their associated equipment, electrical and instrumentation systems within the project scope to operational mode. Ensuring they meet design specifications and operational requirements, ensuring functional safely as per project specifications. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, from initial setup and testing to final handover to operations.

• Develop and implement detailed hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules utilizing industry standards, project specifications, design drawing, and safety regulations. This includes defining scope, resource requirements (personnel, tools ), and documentation needs.
• Pre-commissioning checks, dewatering, flushing of the interconnecting piping in the terminal, leak testing (tightness test), equipment/vessel internal cleanliness (chemical cleaning if required) , nitrogen purging etc. for the facilities
• Oversee the execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including system walk downs, functional testing, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and safety regulations. This includes conducting quality control checks and inspections.
• Synchronization of with various field instrumentation systems, such as control systems, transmitters, and actuators with DCS.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the pre-commissioning and commissioning process, working with relevant experts to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of all pre-commissioning, commissioning activities, including test results, inspections, and any identified deficiencies. Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and handover documentation.
• Having passivation experience with required utility packages.

Skills :

• Experience with relevant industry standards and codes. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
