Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis Chinese Chef to join our cloud kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Chinese cuisine, strong knowledge of wok cooking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced delivery-focused environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes including fried rice, noodles, gravies, starters, and dim sum (if applicable).
• Assist in mise en place: chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, marinating proteins, and portioning ingredients.
• Operate wok, steamer, griller, and other cooking equipment safely.
• Follow standard recipes to maintain taste, quality, and consistency for delivery orders.

Kitchen Operations (Cloud Kitchen Specific)

• Ensure timely preparation of orders as per KOT to meet delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with packing staff to ensure correct portioning and plating in delivery containers.
• Maintain smooth workflow with minimal wastage of ingredients.
• Adapt cooking styles for delivery-friendly food quality.

Quality, Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitization (FSSAI guidelines).
• Monitor freshness of ingredients and report any quality issues.
• Follow proper food storage, FIFO/FEFO methods, and temperature control practices.

Teamwork & Support

• Assist the Demi Chef de Partie / Chef de Partie in daily operations.
• Support inventory checks and stock rotation.
• Maintain discipline, grooming, and professionalism in the kitchen.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Chinese cuisine (restaurant or cloud kitchen preferred).
• Strong wok skills and knowledge of Chinese sauces and cooking methods.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and kitchen protocols.
• Flexible to work shift timings, weekends, and peak delivery hours.

Preferred Qualities

• Quick learner with attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Knowledge of trending Chinese dishes (Schezwan, Hakka, Manchurian, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
