Commis Chef

We are hiring a dedicated Commis 1 or DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) for our café kitchen team, with a focus on Italian and Continental cuisine. The candidate must have solid experience in preparing pasta, sandwiches, and related items, and be available to work the middle shift (4 PM to 1 AM) .. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Italian and Continental dishes, especially pasta, sauces, grilled items, and sandwiches. Assist senior chefs in kitchen operations and service during the middle shift. Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. Perform daily mise-en-place and ensure food items are ready for service. Follow kitchen safety and hygiene procedures at all times. Monitor and manage food storage, stock rotation, and ingredient usage. Support kitchen cleaning and organization before shift end. Requirements: Experience: 1–3 years in a similar kitchen role (café, hotel, or casual dining). Cuisine Knowledge: Italian and Continental (must know pasta & sandwich preparation). Skills: Good communication, time management, and kitchen discipline. Education: HM Shift Availability: Must be able to work 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, including weekends/holidays.
