Job Type: Full-time.

Job Summary:

We are seeking for Commis 2, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of food in accordance with company and brand standards. You’ll work under the supervision of the Commis 1 and Chef de Partie, supporting the overall kitchen operation with a focus on consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and basic cooking under supervision (chopping, peeling, measuring, etc.)
• Assist in the preparation and plating of dishes.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Follow hygiene and safety regulations at all times (HACCP standards).
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to senior staff.
• Store food items properly and monitor stock rotation (FIFO method).
• Support the Commis 1 and Chef de Partie with daily kitchen tasks.
• Maintain a professional attitude and behavior at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 and half year of experience in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Good time management and multitasking skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Flexible with work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary diploma, Hotel Management, MBA in Hotel management or relevant certification is an advantage.
