Commis 1 (South Indian)

As a South Indian Chef at Signature Club resort, your role involves preparing and cooking a variety of South Indian dishes such as dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, and chutneys. You must have a thorough understanding of the ingredients and spices used in South Indian cuisine to create flavorful and authentic dishes. Your responsibilities include: - Preparing meals and food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner. - Properly measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions. - Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules, and sanitation requirements. - Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality. - Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward. - Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and sanitized. - Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef. You are expected to be a team player and focus on job duties.
