Job Title: Commis II Chef (Continental Cuisine)Job Summary

The Commis II Chef – Continental Cuisine assists in the preparation and cooking of continental dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety. The role supports senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and ensures consistent food presentation and taste.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking continental dishes according to recipes and standards
Support the Chef de Partie and Commis I in daily kitchen operations
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines
Assist in mise en place preparation for daily service
Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation
Help minimize food waste and control kitchen costs
Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and management

Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques
Understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Willingness to learn and improve culinary skills
Time management and multitasking abilities

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred
Basic food safety or hygiene certification is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
