Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role located in Ooty for a Commi South Indian at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL). The Commi South Indian will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of South Indian cuisine, ensuring high standards of food hygiene, and following prescribed culinary techniques. Daily tasks will include assisting senior chefs, preparing ingredients, and presenting dishes with attention to detail and creativity.

Qualifications

• Food Preparation and Culinary Skills
• Expertise in Cooking and knowledge of South Indian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Hygiene standards and practices
• Effective Communication skills
• A diploma or degree in culinary arts is a plus
• Prior experience in a professional kitchen is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks
