Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, and regional specialties. Your role will involve ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards as per IHCL protocols, assisting senior chefs in mise en place and daily kitchen operations, monitoring inventory of South Indian ingredients, and collaborating with the culinary team for menu planning and innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes - Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning - Maintain hygiene and food safety standards - Assist senior chefs in mise en place and daily kitchen operations - Monitor inventory of South Indian ingredients and report shortages - Collaborate with the culinary team for menu planning and innovation Qualifications Required: - Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred) - Hands-on experience in South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients - Familiarity with kitchen equipment like dosa tawa, steamers, and grinders - Good communication and teamwork skills - Basic knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines,
