Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Food preparation:
  • Wash, peel, chop, and measure ingredients for dishes.
  • Prepare basic sauces and salads as directed.
  • Assist in cooking and plating various dishes under supervision.
  • Kitchen maintenance and hygiene:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the work area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper storage of food, including dating and rotating stock.
  • Stock and inventory:
  • Receive deliveries, verify the quality and quantity of items, and store them properly.
  • Monitor and report low stock levels to supervisors.
  • Discard expired or spoiled food items.
  • Team support:
  • Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff as needed.
  • Learn and apply recipes, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
  • Support with food preparation for special events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
