Job Description

Customer contact:
Follow up with customers on overdue payments for vehicle loans (e.g., EMI, bounce charges).
Negotiation:
Negotiate repayment plans or other resolutions with customers who are behind on payments.
Field visits:
Conduct field visits to locate customers and recover payments, sometimes requiring local travel.
Record keeping:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, customer interactions, and payments received.
Target achievement:
Work to achieve set collection targets and minimize the percentage of non-performing assets (NPAs).
Legal compliance:
Ensure all collection activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and relevant legal guidelines.
Problem-solving:
Address and resolve customer issues and complaints that may be a barrier to repayment.
Documentation:
Assist with legal proceedings and document verifications as needed.

Required skills and qualifications

Experience:
Previous experience in collections, preferably in vehicle finance or NBFCs, is often required.
Communication:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial for interacting with customers.
Local language proficiency:
The ability to speak, read, and write in the local language is often necessary for field positions.
