Cognos Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience in IBM Cognos technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM Cognos Reports Data Module Workspace Framework Manager Dynamic Cubes and Administration. This role involves developing and optimizing business intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decision-making. The position offers a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IBM Cognos Reports to provide accurate and timely business insights.
• Optimize IBM Cognos Data Modules for enhanced data integration and reporting capabilities.
• Utilize IBM Cognos Workspace to create interactive dashboards and visualizations for end-users.
• Implement IBM Cognos Framework Manager to design and manage metadata models effectively.
• Configure and manage IBM Cognos Dynamic Cubes to support complex analytical queries.
• Oversee IBM Cognos Administration tasks to ensure system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in Database and SQL to support data extraction and transformation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM Cognos applications and data models.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and methodologies.
• Document technical specifications and user guides for developed solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest IBM Cognos features and best practices to enhance solution delivery.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong experience in IBM Cognos Reports Data Module and Workspace.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IBM Cognos Framework Manager and Dynamic Cubes.
• Have solid understanding of IBM Cognos Administration and system management.
• Exhibit expertise in Database and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Show ability to work in a hybrid work model with effective time management skills.
• Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Maintain strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
