Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cognos Analytics 11 Developer with 4 to 12 years of experience to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using IBM Cognos Analytics.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop data models using Framework Manager and Data Modules.
Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using Cognos Dashboards.
Create reports using various components such as charts, lists, cross-tabs, and maps.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business objectives and develop reports to monitor them effectively.
Analyze data and present findings through reports that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and estimate timelines for task completion.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with Data Modules, Dashboarding, and Cognos Analytics 11 features.

Job Requirements

Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data modeling.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Experience in designing and developing BI solutions using IBM Cognos Analytics.
Knowledge of relational and multidimensional database design principles.
Hands-on experience with SQL queries and performance tuning.
Expertise in Cognos-specific technologies, including Data Modules and Dashboarding.
Apply knowledge of database design principles in BI development.
