You are being hired as a Cockroach DB Database Administrator. Your work location will be Pan India. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up, configuring, and administering Cockroach DB. - Demonstrating expertise in distributed SQL databases. - Deploying, scaling, and monitoring database clusters effectively. - Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies proficiently. - Optimizing SQL performance and query execution. - Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Utilizing monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar for effective database performance tracking. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks. - Understanding high availability and consistency models in distributed systems.
