As the Chief Operating Officer for UmrahMeals in India, you will play a crucial role in establishing and expanding our operations in the Indian market. UmrahMeals is a pioneering FoodTech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the way Umrah pilgrims are served meals, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and customer experience through innovative tech solutions in Makkah and Madinah. Your responsibilities will include leading the sales, onboarding, and support activities for Umrah tour operators in India. You will also be tasked with building a proficient regional team comprising telecallers and account managers. Additionally, you will contribute to setting up the office infrastructure and driving brand development initiatives. Collaboration on product enhancements and B2B workflows will be a key aspect of your role. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in travel, food service, or startup operations. Familiarity with Umrah/Hajj tour operators and the B2B religious travel sector is highly desirable. Strong leadership abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for driving market growth and ensuring customer satisfaction are essential qualities we are looking for. Experience in team building, execution, and ground operations will be advantageous.
