About company: Bombay Ortho Industries Pvt Ltd is a Wholly owned subsidiary of Alkem MedTech Pvt Ltd and manufactures Orthopedic implants and surgical instruments. Role Overview: We are hiring ITI-certified candidates for our Production and Engineering/Facility departments . The selected candidates will be responsible for operating machinery, assisting in the manufacturing of medical implants/instruments , and supporting maintenance and engineering activities to ensure smooth plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Operations: Operate production machinery such as CNC, lathe, drilling, grinding, and milling machines under supervision. Assist in the machining and finishing of orthopedic implants as per technical drawings and process instructions. Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per product specifications. Perform manual operations such as deburring, polishing, cleaning, and basic assembly tasks. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and 5S on the shop floor. Engineering/Facilities: Assist in routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment. Report and troubleshoot minor mechanical or electrical faults. Support engineers in installation, servicing, and calibration of machines and tools. Maintain proper logs and documentation of maintenance tasks performed. Work on Tool design and selection, Fixture development, Root cause analysis (RCA) for process deviations, AHU/HVAC maintenance Implementation of 5S and Kaizen initiatives Monitor Unplanned downtime and OEE metrics Tools & Machines You May Work With: CNC Turning / Milling Machines Manual Lathes, Grinders, Tapping Machines Buffing & Polishing Tools Pneumatic Tools and Fixtures Measuring Instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge) Qualifications:
