Position Title: PEMB Light Gauge Detailer Department: Structural / Detailing Experience: 2-4 years Standards: US/Canada Location: [Hyderabad] Reports To: Detailing Manager / Project Lead Role Summary The PEMB Light Gauge Detailer is responsible for creating accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D models for light gauge framing and pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects. The role requires expertise in interpreting structural/architectural drawings, preparing detailed connection details, and coordinating with engineers, fabricators, and contractors to ensure accuracy and constructability. Key Responsibilities • Interpret architectural and structural design drawings for light gauge and PEMB systems. • Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs) for light gauge steel members. • Develop panel layouts, framing plans, sections, elevations, and connection details . • Use detailing software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit,Scottsdale software . • Coordinate with engineering/design teams to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards. • Maintain drawing/document control and ensure timely submission of deliverables. • Perform quality checks on all detailing work to minimize errors and rework. • Work closely with fabrication and site teams for issue resolution. Qualifications & Skills • Diploma / Bachelors in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering (preferred). • 2–5 years of experience in light gauge steel detailing or PEMB projects. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one detailing software (Tekla, Vertex BD, FrameCAD, Scottsdale, etc.). • Knowledge of cold-formed steel standards (AISI, IS 801, BS, or equivalent). • Strong understanding of connections, joints, fasteners, and fabrication requirements. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of reinforcement detailing, CAD/Rebar software proficiency, and coordination with engineers, fabricators, and contractors. Responsibilities: • Prepare rebar shop drawings and BBS using AutoCAD/RebarCAD. • Review structural/architectural drawings, identify discrepancies, and raise RFIs. • Ensure detailing complies with relevant codes and project standards. • Coordinate with site and fabrication teams for execution support.
