CNC VMC HOD

As the CNC/VMC HOD at the largest manufacturer of Bulk Conveying Chains and Accessories in India, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the Vertical Machine Center. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient production of Bucket Elevator Chains, Reclaimer Chains, Deep Pan Conveyor Chains, Drag Chains, and Customized Chains. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the Vertical Machine Center, handling a minimum of 10 machines with precision and expertise. - Utilize your deep knowledge of tooling, reading drawings, and setting cutting parameters to ensure accurate and efficient production. - Program machines using FANUC & SIEMENS control, and maintain knowledge of CNC operating panel buttons and offsets. - Oversee the use of fixture accessories, maintain knowledge of SOP, and demonstrate proficiency in using measuring instruments. - Apply your analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the automobile or chain manufacturing industry, particularly with Vertical Machine Center operations. - Proficiency in programming with FANUC & SIEMENS control systems. - Strong understanding of tooling, reading drawings, setting cutting parameters, and using measuring instruments. - Experience with fixture accessories, SOP, CNC operating panel buttons, and offsets.
