CNC Programmer

As a CNC Programmer, your primary responsibility will be to utilize your strong knowledge of CNC programming in turning and milling, both manually and through CAM programming software. You should have expertise in Powermill software, with the ability to efficiently operate and program CNC machines. In addition to programming, you will be expected to have a good understanding of machine controls and the capability to set up operations on the machine. Knowledge of jigs and fixtures is also essential for this role. Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as verniers, bore gauges, and micrometers is required to ensure high precision in machining processes. Familiarity with documentation tasks and proficiency in MS Office will be beneficial for maintaining records and reports. A basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is preferred for this position. You should also possess knowledge of CNC tooling and inserts to optimize machining operations. With at least 2-3 years of experience in CNC programming, you should hold a Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
