Job Description

Responsibilities:

Setting up CNC machines, selecting appropriate tools, and ensuring proper machine parameters.
Performing quality checks on parts produced by the CNC machine to ensure they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
Identifying and resolving issues with CNC programs or machine operations.
Working with engineers, operators, and other team members to optimize production processes and address challenges.
Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines and potentially training new operators or programmers.
Choosing the right cutting tools and materials for specific jobs.
Keeping up to date with the latest CNC programming technologies and best practices.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in reading and understanding technical blueprints.
Expertise in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and understanding of machine controls.
Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.
Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyse data, and optimize processes.
High degree of accuracy and precision in programming and machine setup.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and work collaboratively.
Strong understanding of mathematics and mechanics for accurate calculations and machine operation.
