CNC / VMC 4-Axis Programmer & Production Manager

Role Summary

We are hiring a senior CNC professional who will act as Production Manager and Lead Programmer, taking full ownership of programming, production planning, quality control, manpower management, raw material planning, and capacity control for our machining unit.

This is a leadership role with direct shopfloor authority.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming & Process Ownership

-Create and optimize CNC programs for VMC and rotary 4-axis machining
-Plan multi-face machining strategies and fixture referencing-Own prove-outs, first article approval and batch release-Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists and machining process documentation

Production Planning & Control

-Plan daily and weekly production loading for all machines
-Allocate jobs to machines and operators-Control WIP movement between cutting, machining, QC and packing-Ensure on-time completion of orders-Monitor machine utilisation and bottlenecks

Quality & Shopfloor Discipline

-Define in-process inspection plans
-Control scrap, rework and rejection-Implement corrective actions-Enforce setup discipline, machine housekeeping and safety-Train and guide operators

Raw Material & Inventory Planning

-Plan raw material procurement based on production plan
-Forecast material consumption-Prepare material purchase requisitions and maintain stock levels-Control excess and dead stock-Ensure correct material issue to jobs

Cycle Time & Capacity Engineering

-Calculate and validate cycle time for every new part
-Prepare machine loading plans based on actual cycle time-Estimate delivery timelines using real capacity-Improve cycle time, setup time and yield continuously

Required Profile

-5+ years experience in CNC programming / production supervision
-Strong hands-on experience on CNC lathes and VMC with rotary 4th axis-Strong fixture planning and GD&T knowledge-Proven leadership of shopfloor teams-Ability to run production independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
