Job Description – CNC Machinist

Company: Raunaq Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
Department: Production / Machine Shop
Reporting To: Production / Machine Shop Head
Work Timings: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities1. Basic Knowledge

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (2D & 3D).

· Knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerance).

· Familiarity with fabrication components.

· Handling large and heavy components, including welded parts.

· Knowledge of materials such as steel and stainless steel.

2. Machine Operation Skills

· Operation of VMC 3-axis and 5-axis machines (Fanuc & Heidenhain controls).

· Knowledge of 3-axis machining processes: milling, drilling, boring, tapping.

· Understanding tilt and rotary movements in 5-axis machining.

3. Tool Knowledge

· Knowledge of cutting tools: end mills, face mills, drills, taps, reamers, and inserts.

· Ability to select tools suitable for fabrication-related machining.

4. Programming Knowledge

· Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-code and M-code).

· Knowledge of 2D programming.

· Ability to troubleshoot and solve machining/programming issues.

Requirements

· Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field.

· Experience: 2–5 years in CNC machining (VMC/5-axis) preferred.

· Strong knowledge of precision machining processes and inspection tools.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
