CNC Operator & Programmer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for operating CNC machines such as lathe, mill, and grinder to produce parts according to blueprints and engineering specifications. Additionally, you will set up and adjust machines for production runs, monitor machine performance, and ensure quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Operate CNC machines to produce parts as per blueprints or engineering specifications. - Set up and adjust machines for production runs, including loading materials, securing tools, and aligning workpieces. - Monitor machine performance to ensure it meets quality standards, adjusting settings when necessary. - Inspect finished products using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements. - Conduct routine machine checks and maintenance to ensure efficient operation. - Adhere to safety protocols for a safe working environment and keep the work area clean and organized. - Write and edit CNC programs using G-code or other programming languages for various machines. - Choose the correct cutting tools based on material and job specifications. - Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and operators to understand program requirements and communicate adjustments for smooth production. - Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling setups, and work orders.
