CNC Operator & Programmer

As a CNC Operator and Programmer at our manufacturing team, your role will involve setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce precision parts. Your responsibilities will include: - **CNC Programming**: - Develop and optimize CNC programs - Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files for efficient machining processes - **Machine Setup and Operation**: - Set up CNC machines, load raw materials, secure workpieces, and configure tooling - Operate CNC machinery to produce parts within specified tolerances and quality standards - Monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments for optimal production - **Quality Control**: - Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet design specifications - Troubleshoot and rectify tooling, machine performance, or program errors - **Tool Maintenance**: - Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools - Replace or sharpen cutting tools to maintain machining accuracy and efficiency - **Documentation**: - Maintain accurate records of machining processes, adjustments, and quality control measures - Document any deviations from the production plan and communicate them to the appropriate personnel - **Collaboration**: - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes - Provide feedback on design feasibility and suggest improvements for manufacturability - **Safety and Compliance**: - Adhere to safety protocols for a secure working environment - Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices in CNC machining **Requirements**: - Proven experience as a CNC Operator and Programmer in a manufacturing environment - Proficiency in CNC programming - Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications - Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Understanding of safety protocols and compliance with industry standards **Education and Certifications**: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework in CNC machining is a plus Join our team and contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality precision components through advanced CNC machining processes.
