CNC Operator

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Managing a co-worker. Ability to manage normal work load operating 6-10 CNC machines. Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs. Working with all floor supervisors and team leaders, making every effort to maintain, production schedules, and limiting waste, scrap, re-works or turn backs. Working with Quality Control personnel to maintain the highest quality product. Set up and manage CNC machines, including programming, setting, and operating equipment. Ensure accurate cutting tools are selected based on workpiece material type and size. Monitor machine performance during production runs to identify areas for improvement. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to resolve issues related to machinery operation. Excellent organizational skills In-depth knowledge of metal machinery. Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
